Lori Kelly

Lori Kelly has been practicing yoga since 2015 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. What began as a way to stay active quickly became something much more meaningful. As Lori says, "I came for the exercise but stayed for the community." She is happy to admit she has yet to meet a yogi she hasn't liked.

Witnessing the effects of aging within her own family inspired Lori to focus on the many benefits of yoga as a way to support healthy aging, maintain mobility, and help prevent injury. She structures her classes with a mindful approach to movement, emphasizing proper alignment and safety while encouraging students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and gently expand their comfort zones.

A firm believer in the saying, "If you rest, you rust," Lori believes that movement—any movement—is beneficial for every body. A lifelong learner, she has continued her education by earning additional certifications in Yoga Philosophy and Pranayama (breathwork), both of which she thoughtfully weaves into her classes.

As part of her own practice, Lori embraces the ancient tradition of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of loving devotion and kindness. Her personal daily mantra reflects this philosophy:
"I am kind. I am peaceful. I embrace everyone I meet with loving kindness."

Outside the studio, Lori is also a paralegal, a wife, and the proud mother of two grown children. An avid equestrian for more than 50 years, she has spent decades riding and competing. She is always delighted to share photos of the true love of her life—her horse, Honorable (better known as Henri).
