Workshop

 

These demo classes will give you an opportunity to meet our instructors and sample their individual teaching styles. This will be an opportunity to indulge in a class experience, ask questions or address concerns, and enjoy what Balanced Bodies Studio has to offer.

 

A Vinyasa-style class, power yoga flow uses your breathing (the integral connector) coupled with movement through asana to integrate the mind/body connection. This practice builds core strength through Sun Salutations, standing postures, arm balances, occasionally inversions and includes backbends and hip openers. Designed for intermediate to advanced levels.

Intermediate and some advanced exercises will be taught. The end goal is to be able to skillfully and efficiently perform Intermediate exercises "in flow".

If you would like to begin or continue a healthier and more fit lifestyle.  Each class will integrate both an information/lecture piece with a hands-on movement session. 

There will be a limited, advance registration to ensure that each participant receives individual attention.  

The focus of this workshop is to introduce or re-introduce health and wellness to anyone who would like to enhance their well-being following any medical or surgical event.

Please join me in a workshop that will focus on movement that is based on real life situations. Learn how to stabilize the muscles of your core, the abdomen and spine, to move in your daily life. Emphasis will be placed on how to access, feel and move all four muscles of the abdominal wall as well as how to stretch and strengthen the spine. Find strength in your body, feel good about movement and maybe surprise yourself by learning something new. All participants will move at their own pace and do only what is comfortable for them.
