These demo classes will give you an opportunity to meet our instructors and sample their individual teaching styles. This will be an opportunity to indulge in a class experience, ask questions or address concerns, and enjoy what Balanced Bodies Studio has to offer.

 

Combining Asana (poses), Savasana (relaxation), Pranayama (breath work), and meditation, this class is designed with the experienced student in mind. The focus will be on proper alignment to bring balance, strength, and calmness to the body and mind. The class will be geared to students who practice at different levels as well as anyone who has completed the Introduction to Yoga Series.

This class is recommended for anyone who has had a minimum of six Pilates classes within the past one year. You must have a comfortable skill and knowledge of Mat work and the ability to perform the exercises while being coached; without the aid of a teacher demonstration. The Mixed Level class will continue to teach and connect you to the mind/body concept of Pilates using both a demonstrative and moderately-paced execution of the protocol. Intermediate and some advanced exercises will be taught. The end goal is to be able to skillfully and efficiently perform Intermediate exercises "in flow".

This class promotes centering, breathing, active yoga postures, and relaxation. Developed to engage teenagers by combining several components in a moderate progression. It is a true mind/body experience which will hold the interest and attention of pre-teens.
