Alison is certified as a Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, and Pilates Instructor. Having completed a myriad of courses, including but not limited to, a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, the in-depth National Academy of Sports Medicine program, and several Certification courses with the PHI Pilates.
Over 30 years ago Alison was introduced to Yoga and from that time it became an integral part of her life. Teaching Yoga for over nine years, Alison has had the opportunity to work with special populations such as children, seniors, and both adults and children with special needs. Her love of the practice has created a backdrop for discovery resulting in success with students whom may not have practiced without her guidance.
With 14 years of Pilates experience between the Mat and Reformer, Alison has deepened the strength and increased endurance with her students. She has created a bridge between her Pilates practice and Yoga practice which continues to result in her client’s success.
Alison has a firm belief that Yoga and Pilates are valuable tools to connect the body and mind. Through this connection people can make choices with greater wisdom and awareness, thereby enhancing all aspects of their life. Her work in this area has proved successful with her clients and students.
Diversity is necessary to balance. Alison incorporates all three components into her work with clients. She uses her own experiences with Yoga, Pilates, and training to help people journey to better health and wellness.
